Public service association (PSA)

Applicants are invited for the above-post which is responsible to the Secretary General of the PSA for the following core duties and accountabilities:-

• Assist the Secretary General in keeping the accounts of the PSA;
• Assist the Secretary General in preparing the budget of the PSA;
• Assist the Secretary General in preparing the financial report of the PSA;
• Perform any other duties as directed by the Secretary General.

Qualifications:

• A degree in accounting or business studies or economics with an understanding of finance, business, commerce and accounting economics from a recognized university;
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Tongan;
• Relevant experience of at least 3 years would also be preferred;
• Must be computer literate; and
• Holds a driver’s licence.

Remunerations and Benefits:

• Salary scale of $10,000 - $15,000 p.a. with annual increment of $1,000 every year. Benefits include vacation leave, casual leave, sick leave are available as applied for the public service.
